Personally, I’m a pretty big sports fan. I love the grace, the passion, the intensity, the drama. But the business side of sport can be pretty ugly. Rooftop filmmaking alum Casimir Nozkowski and The Internets Celebrities have made a funny documentary about the new New York stadiums.

Rooftop Films hosted a special screening of Todd Chandler’s film Flood Tide: Remixed on July 7. Todd and crew are still hard at work at this astonishing, collaborative project. Help them get it finished by donating via Kickstarter!

45365, one of the most beautiful, fascinating, unique feature films of Rooftop’s 2009 season, is playing at the Anthology Film Archives from June 17-24. The glowing review in The Times called it “a beguiling slice of Midwestern impressionism.”
