Bruce Harris is a highly acclaimed trumpet player known for his dynamic and virtuosic performances. He was born and raised in the Bronx, New York, and began playing the trumpet at a young age. Harris studied at S.U.N.Y. Purchase College and has since become a sought-after performer, collaborating with a variety of jazz legends and contemporary musicians.

In a 2013 Ebony Magazine article, legendary jazz trumpeter Wynton Marsalis highlighted Bruce as one of the five important young jazz musicians you should know. In addition to his live performances, Harris has released two successful records, Beginnings (2017) and Soundview (2020), which have received critical acclaim and showcased his unique style and musicality. His third and fourth records are set to be released in the winter of 2023 and are highly anticipated by fans and critics alike.
Harris is known for his versatility and ability to blend traditional jazz styles with modern influences, creating a sound that is both timeless and contemporary. He continues to perform and record with some of the top names in jazz and contemporary music, including Wynton Marsalis and Harry Connick Jr.to pop acts like Lady Gaga and Rhianna, and is considered one of the most exciting and innovative trumpet players of his generation.
