About The Performer

Boston Chery

Boston Chery—pronounced Cherié—is a Boston-bred, Haitian-American, Brooklyn-based DJ and producer. She sets out to create memorable moments and promote a sense of community through music. A purveyor of deep and infectious dance grooves, the DJ-producer has an innate love for all things ‘90s reggae, dancehall, Afrobeat, world music, R&B, and hip-hop.

Boston has performed on Boiler Room and on the well-loved XM radio show Sway In The Morning. She was a member of Splice's inaugural Creator Class. Over her career, she's appeared at AFROPUNK, the Brooklyn Museum, and Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts, and shared stages with artistic luminaries of our time, including Jill Scott, Kaytranada, GoldLink, and MeLo-X. Currently, Boston holds residencies at Brooklyn’s Dumbo House and Peachy’s bar in Chinatown.
