Legendary reggae artists play themselves in this exuberant tale of struggle and triumph. Leroy (Horsemouth) Wallace and Richard (Dirty Harry) Hall recruit a “Robin-Hood” band of friends to get even with some oppressive mafia types. The cast includes Burning Spear, Jacob Miller, Gregory Isaacs, Kiddus I, Dillinger, Leroy Smart, Jah Youth, The Mighty Diamonds and others. The jam-packed soundtrack features songs by Peter Tosh, The Heptones, Jacob Miller, Burning Spear, Junior Byles, Bunny Wailer, Third World, Junior Murvin, and many more.

The evening will kick off at 5 PM with a Fusha Kids live album release, celebrating I Believe in Myself, then MoCADA radio goes live for Jamaican Independence! Pull up for a pre-carnival live DJ set at 6 PM from from DJ Run P., who’ll be spinning classic dancehall, dub, and more Caribbean riddims—all culminating in a screening of Rockers at sundown.
