Elizabeth Bouvia's landmark 1983 “right-to-die” case is reexamined through a contemporary lens, centering disabled voices in the ongoing dialogue about bodily autonomy and medical ethics. Through intimate conversations with disability rights advocates and legal experts, the documentary explores how assumptions about disability influence public policy and challenge common beliefs about quality of life and self-determination.
