The Film

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm

Jason Woliner | UK, US | 96

Seeking redemption, Borat returns to America with his daughter amidst a global pandemic to find a divided country only he can cure, revealing – and giving audiences permission to laugh at – the commonality of the absurd. Timed for release ahead of the U.S. Presidential election, this provocative satire will insert itself directly into the political conversation and steer it into the absurd with counter-programming and a sense of escapism from reality, while still being timely and relevant.
