The start of summer brings new opportunities for love. With films featuring everything from the blush of first love to the end of a bittersweet romance, these shorts ignite passion and challenge initial notions of what love can be. Teenagers wrestle with new feelings, a prank-loving couple goes on honeymoon, and a chance encounter with an old lover brings back animalistic memories. Funny, sweet, touching, awkward, deadly: no two loves are alike, and neither are any of these films. So join us for one special evening on a Manhattan rooftop and we can see where fate leads us from there.

Performer

Madam West

Madam West is an NYC-based rock band. Their arrangements, infused with elements of psychedelia, jazz and prog, seek to find the sunlight that remains even in the darkest of times.
The group is a member of Brooklyn-based label and artist collective Floordoor Records (A Bunch of Dead People, Supplier) and Philadelphia-based goodhowareyou records (Blushed, Secret Nudist Friends, Broke Body). No Depression called the group's full-length “a fine, wide-ranging release, packed with more in its six songs than most full length albums can hope to muster."
