Performer

Concrete Husband

Brooklyn-based DJ and music producer Concrete Husband crafts dynamic songs informed by his background as a classically trained flutist and composer. Through live performances using flutes and vocals he creates dreamy, experimental sound design adorned with virtuosic flute technique and microtones. Through this, Concrete Husband is able to tie together surreal, electronic soundscapes.

He has performed on an international tour with Eartheater, and regularly performs at NYC venues such as Basement, Knockdown Center, and Public Records. His scope of influence is boundless, with work featured in curated experiences both digital and physical, including scoring for Dion Lee’s Fashion Week 2024 Shanghai show, performing flute for the pre-Met Gala dinner hosted by Michèle Lamy of Rick Owens, and playing as the featured improvising flutist for Ari Aster's A24 film, Beau is Afraid.

His upcoming endeavors consist of a Document Journal feature, performances at high-profile events such as Milan Fashion Week x Munch Museum, and headlining at Berlin’s Silent Green.
