Men in Black III Screening on July 29th

The fifth week of Flicks on the Beach, presented in partnership with the Alliance for Coney Island and NYC & Co. brings with it the action hit Men in Black III. This eight-week series aims to promote a #ConeyComeback after the devastating effects of Superstorm Sandy, and to foster community arts and entertainment in the iconic Brooklyn neighborhood.

Men in Black is one of the most-loved sci-fi action comedy spy franchises of all time. Its third installment has grossed over $624 million since its release in 2012 and was so well-received that a fourth film is in the works. Watch Agents K and J travel back in time to fight aliens and save the world, all while nestled in the cool sand at Coney Island beach!

Audience members are encouraged to join the spirit of the movie and dress up in “Special Agent” garb. All patrons who mention “Agent J” or “Agent K” will have special access to following deals and discounts at Boardwalk cafes and shops:

“In Men in Black 3, Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back…in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him — secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.” (c) Sony
