Rooftop Filmmaker and grant recipient Alison Bagnall is raising funds through Kickstarter for her latest project Funny Bunny. Alison’s previous feature The Dish and the Spoon had its NY premiere as part of the 2011 Rooftop Films Summer Series and she is the current recipient of the Rooftop Films & Eastern Effect equipment grant which awards 30 days of lighting and grip equipment to one feature film.
Funny Bunny is an off-beat comedy about a compulsive do-gooder (Kentucker Audley) and a trust fund man-child (Olly Alexander) who embark on a slipshod quest to vie for the heart of an afflicted but beautiful factory-farming activist (Kate Lyn Sheil) whom they have never met.
Alison and her team are looking to raise $50,000 by Saturday, April 13th and are offering great incentives for pledges such as a “life coaching” Skype session with Alex Karpovsky, two tickets to see Olly Alexander in Peter & Alice in London at the Noel Coward Theatre, or a day on the set of Funny Bunny in Philadelphia with the cast and crew.
Please help support and spread the word about this exciting new film!
