Over the last 16 years, Rooftop Films has screened thousands of new, independently produced films in amazing scenic spots all across New York City. But we can’t do it without your help.
What’s that you say? But summer 2013 is so far away? It is our mission to make our events as enticing and unforgettable as possible and creating that experience is a 365 day a year job. Though summer feels far off, we at Rooftop are well on our way in planning our next great season. Support Rooftop Films now so we can expand our events and continue to do screenings at our biggest and most popular venue–Open Road Rooftop.
The amazing Open Road Rooftop rests atop New Design High School in the Lower East Side and is truly a sight to behold. The space is huge—it takes up an entire city block—and it offers gorgeous wraparound views of the entire city. There is no cooler place to watch a movie in all of New York City. But, unfortunately it has become considerably more expensive to put on screenings at this venue. Without support from our fans, we might have to discontinue our events in this amazing location.
So this year we are doing a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to keep this great Rooftop and to make each show a unique and personal experience for each and every one of you.
