IFP and reRun Theater team up for a theatrical run of Girl Walk // All Day 11/2

As the new programmers of reRun Theater, IFP brings four new releases in the month of November. The first of many titles to receive week-long runs as part of this deal will be Rooftop Alum Jacob Krupnick’s Girl Walk // All Day, Sara Blecher’s Otelo Burning, Rooftop Alum and Filmmakers’ Fund recipient Susan Youssef’s Habibi, and Rooftop alum Jonathan Lisecki’s Gayby.

For future programming, filmmakers will be able to submit their films for consideration via an online form set to launch on www.ifp.org soon. Alumni of IFP’s core programs, films covered by Filmmaker Magazine, and Rooftop Films alum are strongly encouraged to apply.

Opening November 2nd, Krupnick’s feature-length dance music video, set to the latest album by mash-up artist Girl Talk, follows three dancers on a journey across New York City, as they turn the city’s sidewalks, parks, and architecture into an evolving stage. There was a non-stop dance party for this screening on the beach at Coney Island so if you can make a screening this weekend, we guarantee it will be a joyous burst of enthusiasm!
