The Open Road Rooftop Project is atop what used to be
Seward Park High School (the building now houses several
different schools). You should enter at 350 Grand Street.

Take the
F, J, M, or Z to Essex / Delancey and walk south on
Essex two blocks, make a right on Grand Street and enter
at 350 Grand. .
INFO:
If you enter the park near N. Portland on the Myrtle
Ave. side the park, you will see our big screen inflated
there at the bottom of the hill.

You can take
almost any train that goes into Brooklyn to get near
the park, including the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, B, Q, M,
N, R, or G train. For walking directions from any of
those trains you can look at this

AUTOMOTIVE HIGH SCHOOL (AHS)

and directly across Bedford Ave from McCarren Park.
Enter at the BACK of the school, on Nassau Street. Shows
are held on the lawn just north of the school.
Picnics are encouraged. In the event of rain, shows
are held indoors, in the school's beautiful auditorium.
by TRAIN L to Bedford Avenue: exit at the Bedford Avenue
side of the train, at N. 7th Street. Walk north. Automotive
High School is the only building past the schoolyard
at North 12th Street, on the left side of the street.
G to Nassau Avenue: Exit at the Nassau side of
the train, at Nassau and Manhattan Aves. Walk south,
toward McCarren Park. Nassau merges with Bedford Avenue
at Lorimer Street, one block away. Cross Lorimer, and
Automotive is the big brick building on your right.

Audience members are then guided through the beatufiul,
old building complex via signage, to the courtyard
where a screen is set up, and further along to the roof,
where another screen is set up (this venue features
a dual projection, with the same films shown at the
same time in both locations). If wine is served, it
will be done in the courtyard. In the event of rain,
shows will be held indoors in the lovely event space
on the third floor.
SPECIAL NOTE: Capacity on the rooftop is limited
to 200 people. In the event we sell out the roof
in advance, we will be accepting walk-up patrons for
our lovely courtyard. The best way to guarantee yourself
a spot on the roof is to buy a ticket in advance.
by TRAIN F, G to Carroll Street: Exit at the 2nd Place
(south) side of the station. Cross Smith Street and
turn left to walk downhill on 3rd Street for 3 blocks
(you will cross the Gowanus Canal). We are just across
3rd Avenue, in the giant red brick building.
M, R to Union Street: Exit at 4th Avenue and
Union Street. Walk south (the first street you'll cross
is President Street) 5 blocks and take a right on 3rd
Street. We're the complex of red brick buildings at
the corner of 3rd Avenue.
