Today is the last day to vote for your favorite short film as part of the Wrap’s Short Film Festival.

A whimsical and scientific omnibus of short films about our solar system, commissioned and created by Cinemad and Rooftop Films, landing in Portland, Chicago and San Francisco in July.

And no, it does not involve bar hopping in the Village in weird costumes (although it does involve superheroes!).

Help launch a solar system of short films by an all-star cast of independent artists. Join The Official Orbit(Film) Astronaut Appreciation Society and receive a grab bag of outer space goodies.

Rooftop is again partnering with the Rural Route Film Fest: on August 7, we’ll be hosting an 8pm and a 10pm screening on the garden roof of The Brooklyn Grange. But in order to get there, the Rural Route folks need your support.

Long-time Rooftop alum Jesse Epstein, among many other New Day films, will be screening films on February 26 at the Museum of Modern Art.

Two Rooftop alums—singer/songwriter Sharon Van Etten and filmmaker Michael Palmieri—have teamed up on a lovely music video. Sharon’s playing at the Bowery Ballroom on Saturday, January 8.
