Rooftop announces the Opening Weekend to the 2013 Summer Series along with some highlights.

There is a certain hypnotic power in David Lowery’s films. Ain’t Them Bodies Saints is a post-modern Western, a form of near-magical realism, so vivid and detailed and intense as to seem dreamlike.

We’ve had some really nice interest in the project. It sounds nice now, but that might change later on when they say, “You know what? It’s not for us.” I like to keep expectations low. That way you don’t get your hopes up. And that way they can’t come crashing down.
