This episode of Filmwax Radio, sponsored by , welcomes back filmmaker Nathan Silver returns to the podcast for a longer conversation. We primarily chat about his latest film, Exit Elena which may be currently streaming at

Exit Elena is darkly comedic home movie about a live-in aide (newcomer Kia Dvavis) and a family in crisis. Most notable is that the matriarch who hires Elena is played by Nathan’s mother, Cindy, who is not a professional actor. The film is entertaining on many levels, capturing a moment in time in a young woman’s life when she is trying to make her own way in the world.
