In her recent Kickstarter campaign, Rooftop Alum Leah Wolchok and the crew of Very Semi-Serious ask: “Isn’t it about time a documentary made you laugh?”

Wolchock, whose short film Living To Work was included in Rooftop’s 2006 summer series, is now directing Very Semi-Serious, a documentary that takes you behind the scenes of  The New Yorker cartoon section. The crew is in the final stretch of production and have just released a trailer on the film’s Kickstarter page.

Wolchock and the crew would appreciate any support you can give to help them finish the project, and are even including great rewards such as Tote Bags, T-Shirts, and iPhone cases! Even if you can’t contribute, you can help by spreading the word by liking the film’s Facebook page or checking out the Official Website.
