In this episode of Filmwax Radio, the first segment includes a conversation with Our Nixon filmmakers Penny Lane and Brian L. Frye. Our Nixon will have a free screening with Rooftop Films on Wednesday, July 3th at Socrates Sculpture Park in Long Island City.

The second segment includes Meerkat Media Collective filmmakers Adam Pogoff and Jay Sterrenberg who are part of the dircectorial/producer team behind the new documentary Brasslands. The film is having a free Rooftop Films/River to River screening on Saturday, July 13th at Brookfield Place, 220 Vesey Street in the financial district.  There will be a free concert with 4 live Serbian brass bands prior to the screening, one of which is Zlatne Uste. Two members of that band and who appear in the film, Matt Smith and Sarah Ferholt, are also on this segment. Matt performs some music during the discussion.

The episode begins with Dan Nuxoll updating us on Rooftop Films. Stick around for a wap-up at the very end by your host.
