This episode of Filmwax Radio kicks off with host Adam Schartoff on Parental Guidance in the 70s.

About 10 minutes into the show is the second of a two-part in depth conversation on indie filmmaking with narrative filmmakers, Andrew Semans and Bryan Wizemann (part 1 is here). Andrew’s new film Nancy, Please is having its theatrical engagement at reRun Theater in DUMBO beginning Friday, May 24th. Tickets are available.

Then at around the 40 minute mark, Rooftop Films Program Director Dan Nuxoll catches us up on things with this summer’s festival which is leading into its third weekend. Friday evening brings us Love Hurts — twisted short films of the heart!  And then Jordan Vogt-Roberts feature, The Kings of Summer, on Saturday night.

Filmwax Radio is presented by Rooftop Films and AT&T.
