“Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared” is a hilarious and wonderfully bizarre three-min. animated short, that Rooftop Films screened at The Old American Can Factory as a part of our 2012 Summer Series. The film begins innocently as the cast of characters sings along about being creative. Then suddenly, it turns into a creepy sequence, and the characters become “creative” by covering human hearts in glitter and eating a gore cake. The moral of the story: never be creative. Regardless, this animated short certainly is.
