With the 2012 Summer Olympics right around the corner, its fitting that directors, Mina T. Son and Sara Newens (a Rooftop Alum), are making a final sprint to the finish line with their documentary, “Top Spin”, about the US Olympic Table Tennis Team. Describing ping-pong as “the ultimate underdog sport” on their website, the film crew followed the lives of the very normal all-American teens who comprise the team as they train and compete their way to the top in this very unique Olympic sport.

In order to get the money that it needs, Top Spin has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $75,000 in just seventeen days. So we are asking all of our Rooftop followers to reach into their pockets and donate to this cool, eye opening documentary in support of our National Table Tennis Team and its passionate individual athletes.
