Our friends at Filmwax are hosting a brand new (free!) screening series, Movie Night at Franklin Park, which kicks off this Monday May 21st. Filmwax has partnered with the Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP) for this special series of films by emerging filmmakers.

The series begins this Monday with Rodrigo Lopresti and Zak Mulligan’s I’m Not Me, the story of a young man (portrayed by co-director Lopresti) struggling with the death of his wife. His grief begins to manifest itself in strange ways as his reality begins to break down. For more information about the film, check out Filmwax’s interview with Lopresti.

Admission is free for all events in the Franklin Park series, as well as $4 beer specials available at the bar. Seating starts at 7:30 and the screening begins at 8. There will be a Q&A with Rodrigo and Zak immediately following the screening.
