Winnebago Man is the #1 most popular movie on Hulu for the last three days in a row, and Rooftop is thrilled to have been part of its success.

Jack Rebney is the most famous man you’ve never heard of—after cursing his way through a Winnebago sales video, Rebney’s outrageously funny outtakes became an underground sensation and made him an internet superstar. Filmmaker Ben Steinbauer sets out to find the recluse who unwittingly became the “Winnebago Man.” This hilarious and charming film begins as an exploration of pseudo-celebrity and viral culture, and becomes a surprisingly poignant journey for the filmmaker, subject and audience.

Steinbauer’s film Winnebago Man first screened at Rooftop Films in 2009, where Kino International happened to see it, and picked it up for distribution. Winnebago Man then made its theatrical release at Landmark Sunshine Theater and the AMC Empire 25 in July, 2010. Now, the film returns to its roots, as an internet sensation in its own right. Watch it for free, online, only at Hulu and SnagFilms for the next two weeks.

Watch all of WINNEBAGO MAN for free at SNAGFILMS only for the next two weeks.

This is an opportunity you  don’t want to miss. Support these some hardworking and spirited independent filmmakers, treat yourself to what Michael Moore called “one of the funniest films I’ve seen in years,” and let’s make this internet run of ‘Winnebago Man’ the most successful yet!
