Bacon & God's Wrath (Sol Friedman | Canada | 9 min.)
A 90-year-old Jewish woman reflects on her life experiences as she prepares to try bacon for the first time.

Her Friend Adam (Ben Petrie | USA | 17 min.)
A boyfriend’s jealous impulse spirals out of control in 16 minutes of romantic doom.

Maman(s) (Maïmouna Doucouré | France | 21 min.)
Life is disrupted for eight-year-old Aida when her father returns with a young Senegalese woman, Rama, whom he introduces as his second wife. Sensitive to her mother’s distress, Aida decides to get rid of the new visitor.

Edmond (Nina Gantz | UK | 9 min.)
Edmond’s impulse to love and be close to others is strong–maybe too strong. As he stands by a lake contemplating his options, he reflects on his defining moments in search of the origin of his desires.

Peacock (Ondřej Hudeček | Czech Republic | 26 min.)
Bohemia, 19th Century. Ladislav, the mischievous son of a landlord, terrorizes the village with cruel jokes. War breaks and Ladislav is forced to hide in a monastery, where he unexpectedly discovers his hidden desires. He returns home and befriends Jan, a sensitive young poet. Together they experience moments of undiluted happiness. However, passionate Ladislav soon becomes jealous and his endeavor to dominate Jan triggers a series of grievous events... A dramatic history of the rise of one of the most influential Czech writers, paved with flesh, bones and blood. A black comedy based on a true story, a queer literary encyclopedia, and a historical picture book in one.

Alice Cohen
Alice Cohen is an animator and musician based in Brooklyn, NY. She uses found imagery and collage to make hand-made stop-motion animations, and has created music videos for a wide variety of bands and musicians, as well as had her more experimental animation work shown internationally in screenings and galleries. As a musician/composer she has released recordings since the the late 70s, and continues to perform and release music.
