When Yossi began searching for a roommate for his new Harlem apartment, he had no idea where it would lead. The Apartment is a short documentary that captures the essence of New York City living - the chaos, the glory, the hilarity and the obscenity. We share close quarters with strangers, cohabitate with girlfriends impulsively, and some of us share the gruesome details with anyone who will listen.

Josh Freed makes intimate, humorous, often personal documentaries. In 2010, he completed 5 Weddings and a Felony, a feature-length, first person rom-com documentary, which premiered at DOC NYC at the IFC Center. Since then, Josh has directed several short films while making the Big Bucks as a freelance video editor. Josh has worked as an editor for The Huffington Post and ABC News and lots of other clients. Josh lives in Manhattan with his two-year-old guitar. Sometimes they write songs together.
