The Rooftop Films Sunday Night Indie-Horror Marathon continues all night long. At 8:30PM we will screen Rooftop alum Spencer Parson's award-winning, creepy new horror-comedy, Saturday Morning Massacre.
The horror continues all night long, and is totally free! So spend your pre-Halloween Sunday watching terrifying indie films, all powered by NVIDIA.
For the first time ever, Rooftop Films will be screening an entire movie marathon off of a single tablet computer, an NVIDIA-powered tablet. Making use of NVIDIA’s powerfully efficient Tegra 3 quad-core chip, the tablets can play back more than eight hours of HD video on a single battery charge, so Rooftop will not even have to plug the tablet into a power source throughout the entire 8 hour horror film marathon.

Saturday Morning Massacre (Spencer Parsons | Austin, Texas | 83 min.)
A team of amateur paranormal investigators struggles to make ends meet by debunking reports of supernatural incidents. With the group on the verge of bankruptcy, they take on a case involving rumors of suspicious disappearances and violent deaths linked with the abandoned Kyser schoolhouse. Discounting stories of satanic practices, the team proceeds, desperately chasing cash and the opportunity to fulfill their lives’ mission – to catch a real ghost.
On a tour guided by the local sheriff, the crew learns of the schoolhouse’s gruesome past, and despite the sheriff’s advice to spend the night in a hotel, they decide to stay. They set up their gear and prepare for nightfall, and when the sun goes down, the truth comes out: the Kyser house might actually be haunted by sadistic spirits – or something even worse.
Saturday Morning Massacre is a bloody parody of mystery cartoons and the consequences of meddling with the supernatural.
