Celebrate Earth Day under the stars. BBC AMERICA and Rooftop Films present a special screening of episode one of the uncut, David Attenborough-narrated original landmark natural history series Planet Earth, followed by the World Premiere of The Making of Planet Earth.

Join us Saturday April 21 at 7pm at Solar One (2420 FDR Drive, Service Road East at 25th Street – 6 train to 23rd & Park). Tasty treats from Coolhaus and savory snacks from Mexicue food trucks will be available all evening.

This uncut original “Planet Earth” series comes to BBC AMERICA in a special weekend marathon this Earth Day weekend - Saturday April 21 & Sunday April 22 - marking the first time that the series will be broadcast in the U.S. with its original narrator, world-famous naturalist Sir David Attenborough, in its entirety.

Following the marathon, go behind-the-scenes for the World Premiere two-hour special, “The Making of Planet Earth,” with exclusive new interviews about the incredible adventures of the wildlife filmmakers who traveled all over the planet to create the 11-part series.
