El Museo del Barrio is the preeminent forum and resource in the U.S. dedicated to Caribbean, Latino, and Latin American art. The museum cares for a diverse, 6,500-object Permanent Collection of Caribbean, Latino and Latin American art, unique in the United States. The holdings divide into four main areas: Modern and Contemporary art, Graphics, Taíno/Pre-Columbian, and Popular Traditions. Additionally, the institution hosts cultural celebrations and walking tours, showcasing the richness and diversity of Harlem. This all-day cultural festival will be held in El Museo's sleek outdoor courtyard, adjacent to Central Park.
